Q. Is there a place for my children to go during the Sunday service?

A. Yes! We have ministries available for children from birth all the way to 6th grade. Teens stay in the auditorium with the adults. When you arrive, simply ask a greeter or an usher for help and they will be glad to direct you and your children to the appropriate areas of ministry.

Q. What denomination are you affiliated with?

A. Living Word Outreach Ministries is a nondenominational, Word of Faith church committed to encouraging people with the love of God and equipping them with the Word of God for the purpose of influencing their neighborhoods, communities, nation, and world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Q. Are you under a covering organization?

A. Yes. We are accountable to Pastor Larry Gordon of Cornerstone World Outreach of Sioux City, Iowa.

Q. What are your doctrinal beliefs?

A. Information about our doctrinal beliefs is available online at our What We Believe page. Hard copies can also be found in our visitor folders at the church.

Q. What should I wear to church?

A. Clothes. Anything beyond that is up to you! You will see all manner of dress at a Living Word service – from jeans to suits, shorts to dresses. Just come wearing whatever you’re comfortable in.

Q. Do I need to become a member to attend Living Word?

A. Absolutely not! All are welcome to worship with us.

Q. Do I need to be a member to receive communion at Living Word?

A. No. All are welcome to take the Lord’s Supper with us.

Q. Will I be asked to give an offering?

A. We do have a time during the service devoted to Tithes and Offerings, but there is no pressure to give. You, as a visitor, are encouraged to be our guest. You are welcome to give an offering whenever you feel comfortable or led of God to do so.

Q. What is Living Word's Praise & Worship like?

A. Living Word’s praise and worship has a modern feel to it, but we really don’t want you to get caught up in the style of the music. More so than how the worship is expressed, it’s the heart motive behind the worship that matters to us. Everything we do in our praise and worship has a scriptural base and is done in a heart attitude of worship. Our focus is to glorify Jesus!
