How much do you trust the promises God has spoken over your life? After the Exodus from Egypt, the nation of Israel had a difficult time trusting God, even though He had proven Himself faithful time after time right in front of their eyes. Don’t be like the nation of Israel and complain against God that He’s taking too long to deliver on His promises or that it’s too hard. Your timeframe is not God’s deadline and you are well able to do what God says you can do.

“Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, ‘Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.'”
– Numbers 13:30 (NKJV)

The Love of God will sometimes bring spiritual conviction. That’s a good thing. It shows us how God would have us to live to make an impact on our circle of influence. The Love of God will make a difference in your life if you purpose to walk in it to the best of your ability every day.

“Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”
Romans 5:5 (NKJV)

Your words, thoughts, and actions are seeds that you sow into the ground of your life. That sowing will produce a harvest that will affect your soul, spirit, and body either positively or negatively. What you sow into the ground of your life is your choice.

“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.”

Your attitude is the eye of your soul. It will determine how you see life. Those with a positive attitude see life in a positive light. Likewise, those with a negative attitude see life in a negative light. In this message, Pastor Al lists seven things that will birth a positive attitude within you.

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”

When God tells us that it’s our destiny to revisit Pentecost, it’s not to read about it or learn about it. It’s to experience it. In this message, Pastor Al describes some events in the life of the Apostle Peter that led up to his experience in the Upper Room at Pentecost.

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

When we are disappointed, it robs us of our hope, which robs us of our faith, which ultimately robs us of receiving the promises of God. It’s ok to deal with doubt, but it’s not ok to stay there. Just like there’s no courage without the opportunity to fear, there’s no faith without the opportunity to doubt. Choose to trust God and hope in His promises.

“and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”

When the Holy Spirit first fell on the apostles, they performed supernatural acts that defied natural law. Those acts told of the glory of the God they served and lead people to believe in Jesus as Savior and Lord. That miracle way of living was never supposed to go away. If we are going to see Pentecost revisited, we’re going to need to open ourselves up to allowing the Holy Spirit to work through us on a daily basis.

“And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.”
– Acts 8:6 (NKJV)

Pastor Al takes the commissions he read in Part 1 of this message and shares what the Lord told him about them; they apply as much to the family as they do to the rest of the world. When God commissioned us to make disciples, our families are part of that commission.

There are two Greek words used to describe the Word of God. Logos, the written Word, and Rhema, the revealed Word. You can read a Logos Word of God a hundred times, but until it jumps off the page and becomes a Rhema Word to you, it will do you little good. Your life must be built on the Rhema Word of God.

God has a plan for the Church and that plan has never changed. He wants the Church to impact the world, not the world to impact the Church. Pentecost was the initiation of this plan. In this message, Pastor Al walks through five commissions of the Lord to the Church in all four gospels and explains that these commissions have not been rescinded.

“‘Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’ Amen.”

We all, at one time or another, have experiences with barrenness. Whether it be barrenness of the womb, or barrenness in our finances, relationships, or spiritual walk. God says to praise Him through it and not worry about it! He wants us to stretch out and prepare for that season to end out of an attitude of expectation.

“’Shout for joy, O barren one, you who have borne no child; Break forth into joyful shouting and cry aloud, you who have not travailed; For the sons of the desolate one will be more numerous than the sons of the married woman,’ says the Lord. ‘Enlarge the place of your tent; stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not; lengthen your cords and strengthen your pegs.’”

This message encourages men to find out what the Word of God says their job description is as a man, husband, and father. When the husband gets better, the wife gets better. When the husband and wife get better, the kids get better. When the family gets better, the church gets better. And when the church gets better, the community gets better.

“Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.”
– 1 Peter 3:7 (ESV)

Forgiveness drastically affects your love walk. The Bible is expressly clear that as we forgive others, God is then able to forgive us. We should all adopt the forgiveness of others into our prayer lives as a daily discipline. Bitterness is a root that will grow destructive fruit. If you find a root of bitterness in you, replace it with a root of love.

“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
– Matthew 6:14-15 (NKJV)

Agape is a Greek word that describes the God-kind of love. It’s a self-giving love. It’s a love that is called out of one’s heart by the preciousness of the object loved. It’s a love of esteem, evaluation, with the idea of prizing something exceptionally desirable. Agape keeps on giving even when the loved one is unresponsive, unkind, unloveable, and unworthy. Agape desires only the good of the one loved. It’s a consuming passion for the wellbeing of others.

“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love [agape].”

Has your relationship with God been a one way conversation? When is the last time you genuinely and sincerely told God you loved Him? Has your prayer time been all about you? Or have you been concerned about whether we are pleasing to God or not? God gives salvation to the needy, but only gives the deep things of His heart to the hungry. The true measure of loving God is loving Him without measure.

“If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.”

Sometimes the reason people aren’t going forward and hearing God for the next season, or that the instructions from heaven haven’t come in their fullest level, is because we can’t get out of the past. In these last days, it’s vital for us to know who we are in Christ to live victorious on this earth. We must know that we are the righteousness of God in Christ. Nothing should deter us or intimidate us from being who God wants us to be in these last days — boat rockers, wave makers, shakers, movers, and confronters with the truth.

“In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you.”
– Isaiah 54:14 (NKJV)

Anxiety is a trap from the enemy. At it’s best, anxiety distracts us from our relationship with God and the truth that He is the Lord of Heaven and Earth. At it’s worst, it’s a crippling disease taking over our minds and plunging us into darkness. But God wants so much more for us that to walk through life full of fear, worry, and anxiety.

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

A godly woman is priceless. Her value is far above rubies. Her husband will exalt her, praise her, love her, give up his life for her, and her children will call her blessed. The man that finds such a woman is truly undeserving of such an honor, as God has bestowed upon him only few will find.

“She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness.”

“For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

The godly man, the man God created all men to be, shares characteristics with God because he recognizes that he’s created in the image of God. A godly man is a just man, a man of mercy, and a man of humility. In this message, Pastor Al lists these and many other characteristics that the man of God should purpose to develop in his own life by the choices he makes.

“Then God said, ‘Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness;”

Easter is all about the resurrection, and the resurrection is all about the Love of God. The Love of God is the life of God and the power of God for your supernatural peace, provision, and protection against all the forces of hell. The trials and tribulations of this life are no longer insurmountable when you realize that your enemy is already defeated. Easter is our reminder of the victory of our Lord over the enemy.

“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?'”

We are to be beacons of light in the darkness around us so that anyone can look at us and see a difference. We are the hands and feet of Jesus in this world. God chooses to partner with us and move through us to accomplish His will on planet earth. However, we can choose to with work or to not work with Him in His plans. The fact is, God needs us. But not only does He need us, He needs you!

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

The Church is only as strong as the families therein. If we follow the creation account in Genesis, it’s clear that God has entrusted the spiritual leadership of the home to the man. This is contrary to what is currently the norm in society. When Godly men start to rise up and take their place as the leaders of the home, the Church will flourish like never before.

“Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.”

There’s a big difference between living in the “I will” realm and living in the “I am” realm. Sometimes our humanity has a tendency to make a process out of something that’s already in us. There’s a big difference between “I will be the healed of the Lord” and “I am the healed of the Lord.” There’s a big difference between “I will enter the Holy of Holies” and “I am the Holy of Holies.”

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men.”

The Word of God is the only foundation to a successful life. God has made perfect provision for every aspect of your life and He’s saying to us, “Come and get it!” We must spend time in His Word, hide it in our hearts, and have it come out our mouths for it to impact our lives. One practical way we can do this is to find scripture that addresses our personal situations and personalize the verses for daily confessions.

“For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.”

Strife in your home needs to be eliminated.

“But David said to Saul, ‘Your servant used to keep his father’s sheep, and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock, I went out after it and struck it, and delivered the lamb from its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it by its beard, and struck and killed it. The reason that many believers are living a lackadaisical and failing life is because they don’t know what belongs to them and what God has provided to us in Jesus Christ. There’s an easy way to remedy this problem though – reading the Book. In the Bible, God outlines thousands of promises for those that love Him. But the blessings are not automatic. It’s our responsibility to find those promises and implenent them in our lives.

“For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.”
– 2 Corinthians 1:20 (NKJV)

Determine that you are going to live your life in the abundant blessings that God has provided for you in Jesus Christ.

“Now thanks be to God for His Gift, [precious] beyond telling [His indescribable, inexpressible, free Gift]!”

Christmas Anticipation: the act of looking forward with pleasurable expectation. The prophet Isaiah caused people to experience this kind of expectancy. He talked about a Savior who would come one day. He called him “Wonderful Counselor,” “Mighty God,” “Everlasting Father,” “Prince of Peace.” And he said, “Of the greatness of His government and peace there will be no end” (Isaiah 9:7). Talk about standing-on-your-tiptoes anticipation! This is what the Christmas season is supposed to feel like. We’re celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ who can do for you what no one else can: bring you from darkness to light, from death to life.

“The whole creation is on tiptoe to see the wonderful sight of the sons of God coming into their own.”
– Romans 8:19 (PHILLIPS)

Familiarity, as with many things in life, can be likened to a road with two ditches on either side. Each ditch presents dangers of it’s own and should be avoided. In this message, learn how to identify, guard against, and actually combat unhealthy familiarity.

“Then they scoffed, ‘He’s just a carpenter, the son of Mary and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas, and Simon. And his sisters live right here among us.’ They were deeply offended and refused to believe in him… And because of their unbelief, he couldn’t do any miracles among them except to place his hands on a few sick people and heal them.”

There are questions that every Christian needs to take time to seriously think about. Questions such as – Is Jesus Christ really your Lord? – Why should you follow Jesus Christ as the Lord, Master, and Ruler of your life? – Why should discipleship be the top priority in your life?

Everyone in the Body of Christ has something to do for God. In order for the task to be completed, we have to be strong. There is a natural and spiritual principle that always applies – the strong always prevail. 1 John 4:4 confirms this when it says, “…He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”

“When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace.”
Luke 11:21 (NKJV)

Peter was rebuked in Mark 8 because he couldn’t separate the things of God vs the things of men. He got confused. This message tells us some of the things of God that we, as Christians, need to be focusing on.

“If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.”
– Colossians 3:1 (NKJV)

If you want to protect yourself in these last days, identify and focus on the things of God rather than the things of men. The two can be easily confused. Satan is a master of deception and he is very good at camouflaging the things of men as the things of God. This message focuses on identifying and defining the things of men.

“For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things.”

The probability that all of the over 300 prophecies foretold about the coming Messiah would be fulfilled in one man is a number so large that it would be considered a mathematical impossibility. But all of them did come to pass in the person of Jesus Christ. The Bible is full of prophetic words that belong to you and I if we just believe them and appropriate them by faith.

“All right then, the Lord himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means ‘God is with us’).”

“A man may cast away many vices, forsake many lusts in which he indulged, and conquer evil habits, but no man in the world can make himself to be born of God; though he should struggle much, he could never accomplish what is beyond his power. And, even if he could make himself to be born again, still he would not enter heaven, because there is another point in the condition which he would have violated — unless a man be born of the Spirit, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

“Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.’”

Jesus Christ is the Lord of the New Covenant. Once you become a Christian everything in your life is about what Jesus did, what Jesus is doing, and what Jesus has promised to do. That’s the New Covenant. The New Covenant is better because it’s for all time, all lands, and all people.

“And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.”

Divine prosperity is God’s will for every believer. All God’s prosperous people recorded in the Bible were obedient in giving. Study their lives and you’ll find they were obedient in giving. The Lord wants to deliver people from all bondage and all debt, and only when we seek and obey Him will liberty from bondage come our way.

“And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.”

If you walk in love, you’re not going to break any commandments that were given to control or limit sin. A commandment doesn’t have to be written to tell you to not steal from your neighbors. If you love them, you’re not going to steal from them.

There is a way to remain at peace even when things seem to be spiraling out of control. That’s the knowledge that God’s love is more powerful than anything else that’s going on. Unlike the obsolete covenant of the Law, the new covenant is an everlasting covenant of love and peace. God will never stop doing good to us.

All Christians proclaim Jesus as Lord, but many have not fully given Him that position in their lives. To make Jesus Lord is to give Him your whole self, holding nothing back, and committing to doing whatever He would ask of you. Where is your commitment today? Does your level of commitment reflect that Jesus is Lord of your life?

“And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?”
– Luke 6:46 (KJV)

The world we’re living in is a world teeming with fear and chaos. But in the midst of that fear and chaos, God has something on His agenda and we need to promote it. We must promote the goodness of God in the earth because it is the goodness of God that leads men to repentance.

“It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;”
– 2 Chronicles 5:13 (KJV)

The story of David and Goliath would have turned out much differently if David didn’t have an understanding of and faith in the covenant he had with Almighty God. It’s an excellent story for us to study to know that we have a new and better covenant with God, and how confident we can be in our God because of it.

“Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.”
– 1 Samuel 17:45 (NKJV)

A high percentage of the Body of Christ is ignorant of covenant, and if there’s anything you shouldn’t be ignorant of, it’s covenant. The New Covenant accomplished what the Old Covenant could not; removal of sin and a cleansing of the conscience.

“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
– 2 Corinthians 5:21 (NKJV)

Everything that God is, everything that God has is available to you and me. Why? So that He can use us to advance His Kingdom. Are you prepared to go the distance on behalf of the Kingdom? Are you willing to lay down your life the way Jesus did His? We need to be living ready to do what’s necessary to do what God requires of us.

“And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.'”

If you want your external to be prospering, make sure your internal is prospering. It’s clear that God wants His children to prosper, however, prosperity ought to be the result of a quality of life. A commitment to God, a dedication, an action that’s in line with His Word.

“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”
– 3 John 1:2 (NKJV)

If you would like a digital copy of the audio of this service, please contact the church office at 712-262-9545, or email mfeauto@lwom.us.

Eric Johnson guest ministers today and teaches us that as Christians, God expects us to change to be more like His Son, Jesus. However, He doesn’t expect us to change on our own. He is always there to help us. It’s our job to make sure our focus is on Jesus and pleasing Him rather than us and what we need.

“Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.”
– Philippians 2:12-13 (NKJV)

There’s any number of people who have seen Jesus, but have YOU seen Him? If not, it’s simple. Read the Word. Jesus is the Word. Seeing the Word is seeing Jesus, and seeing Jesus brings faith. (“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17) God wants to manifest His supernatural abundance to you. Let Him. Don’t do anything to close the door on God.

“Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:”

There are religions all over the world telling you that they’re the answer. My Bible says Jesus is the answer. If you find yourself in a lifestyle of sin, all you need to do is forsake those things, ask for forgiveness, and receive it and God promises to clothe you with His righteousness.

“Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you”

The little we have to bring to God is not a limit of faith’s possibilities. With a corrupted seed, you’ll get a corrupted harvest. With an incorruptible seed, you’ll get an incorruptible harvest.

“having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,”

Acts 1:8 tells us that we will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon us. What’s the reason for this power? To be a bold witness! You’re qualified for the manifestation of the Spirit of God in your life.

“There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all:”

Everything in your life should start and be finalized in God. God has a plan for you that will build the Kingdom at the same time that it helps you. The Spirit of God is hovering, as He was at the beginning of creation, waiting for the Word of God to be spoken so He can act on it and create!

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, ‘Let there be light’; and there was light.”
– Genesis 1:1-3 (NKJV)

You can’t tell God, “I love You, I love You, I love You!” and disobey Him. Our love for Him is reflected in our obedience to Him.

“He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”

When we walk in obedience to God, we’re demonstrating our love for God. Jesus loved us and laid down His life for us. To love Him back requires personal sacrifice, but God does not ask anything unreasonable of us. Just simple obedience to His commands.

“He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”
– John 14:20 (NKJV)

There is a disease in the realm of the spirit that stops spiritual immunities. That disease is strife. The devil understands that unity is what will propel the church to be powerful and will do whatever he can to disrupt that unity.

Everything in our life is impacted by giving and receiving, or the lack thereof. 2 Corinthians 9 tells us that if we sow sparingly, we reap sparingly. And if we sow bountifully, we reap bountifully. It’s easy to limit this to the financial realm, but this principle applies to all aspects of life. Sow love, reap love. So mercy, reap mercy. Sow grace, reap grace. And reap them bountifully.

“But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.”
– 2 Corinthians 9:6 (NKJV)

Although the resurrection of Jesus Christ is the main focus of the Easter celebration, it holds more for the Christian than that. It’s also a time for us to celebrate our own resurrection. It’s extremely important for the believer that they experience resurrection of faith, hope, and love on a regular basis.

“But in fact, Christ has been raised from the dead. He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died.”
– 1 Corinthians 15:20 (NLT)

You’re a new creation in Christ Jesus, but you’ve got a responsibility to make sure those old things have passed away every time they try to come back. When you find yourself slipping into a particular sin, don’t walk, RUN to the Lord.

God wants His people to live victorious lives and He’s given us the tools to do so in His Word. Personalize the scriptures. The Bible was written to you and for you.

“For God so greatly loved and dearly prized ME that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that I, WHO believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but I’LL have eternal (everlasting) life.”

If you would like a digital copy of the audio of this service, please contact the church office at 712-262-9545, or email mfeauto@lwom.us.

How big is your God? How much do you trust Him to help you overcome in every circumstance of your life? We can never let the enemy drive us into fear because we can get to the point where we don’t trust God. Rather, we need to decide to believe God no matter what and trust He’s big enough to see us through.

“Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the king of Assyria: ‘He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shield, nor build a siege mound against it. By the way that he came, By the same shall he return; And he shall not come into this city,’ says the Lord. ‘For I will defend this city, to save it for My own sake and for My servant David’s sake.’”

The only way we can truly come into one accord is when we all align ourselves with the Spirit of God, trusting in not our own strength and our own power, but trusting His Spirit to guide and direct us in all things.

The enemy is out to eat your lunch. But you have power over the enemy. So are you going to LET him eat your lunch? If you’ve been stagnated in your prayer life, it’s time to draw a line and say, “No more!”

“In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].”

Prayer produces miracles. Do you believe that? As we measure our lives into God, He will measure His life into us. Seedtime and harvest is a spiritual law that also applies to our prayers.

“Give, and it will be given to you:good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

There is power in prayer! Prayer is an integral part of a Christian’s walk with God and necessary to bring to pass the will of God on planet Earth. The Spirit of God will take all the attributes of Heaven and work them through any believer who will yield and surrender the the Spirit of God.

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;”

2 Chronicles 20 gives an account of a great army coming against Judah and King Jehoshaphat. This story gives us a Biblical pattern that we can follow in our own lives. As we read about what the Lord told King Jehoshaphat to do, we find principles we can implement in our own lives to get the same result.

“And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.”

“Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

God has great expectations for every believer which too many are not living in. God wants every believer blessed, healed and healthy, living the abundant life here on this earth! Why? So we can be a shining light in a dark world, so we can be an example of what life should be on planet earth, and so we can make as great of an impact on the world for the Kingdom of God!

“The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].”

The blessing releases the supernatural power of God into a person’s life by the spoken word of spiritual authority. The blessing can be at work in your family; all you need do is speak it out. And once spoken, the blessing cannot be reversed.

The blessing of God in your life is largely dependent on what comes out your mouth. God used words and spoke the blessing into your life. It’s your responsibility to continue to speak blessing and not cursing. Don’t negate the blessing with your own words.

“Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.”

There are approximately 495 times in the Bible when the blessing of the Lord is referred to. It’s obviously something God is interested in, and we should be too. We must come to the understanding that blessings are implemented by the words that we say, and that the blessing of the Lord has a purpose; so that we may be a blessing.

“The blessing of the Lord—it makes [truly] rich, and He adds no sorrow with it [neither does toiling increase it].”
– Proverbs 10:22 (AMP)

We’re living in perilous times. Biblical prophecy has much to say about the end times, and it could be a source of fear for some. But according to the Bible, Christians should not only not be troubled, but we should be looking forward to these times with anticipation and excitement, because our redemption is at hand!

“Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”

If you would like a digital copy of the audio of this service, please contact the church office at 712-262-9545, or email mfeauto@lwom.us.

The world is driven by fear. Fear is the devil’s main weapon and he’s a master of sowing it and destroying lives because of it. No one is exempt from the struggle of faith vs. fear. If you don’t know how to manage the fear, it will take over your life and render you of now value to God.

“”And he said, ‘Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.””
– 2 Chronicles 20:15 (NKJV)

October 18, 2015: Compassion Produces Action

If you would like a digital copy of the audio of this service, please contact the church office at 712-262-9545, or email mfeauto@lwom.us.

Jesus Christ is the Word of God. The Word, the Bible, from cover to cover, is the manifestation of the Love of God, the Life of God, and the Power of God through Jesus Christ. It was compassion that sent Jesus to the cross. As Christians, that same compassion lives in us and drives us to act.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
– John 1:1 (NKJV)

October 11, 2015: The Times We Live In

If you would like a digital copy of the audio of this service, please contact the church office at 712-262-9545, or email mfeauto@lwom.us.

The current state of the world lines up quite well with how the Bible describes the end times. Certain scriptures almost sound like news headlines. Everything that is happening could create fear in the heart and life of someone who isn’t resting with their confidence in the Lord, but we have to know that there is safety abiding in the presence of the Lord.

“And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”
– Matthew 24:12-14 (NKJV)

October 4, 2015: Heavenly Rewards

If you would like a digital copy of the audio of this service, please contact the church office at 712-262-9545, or email mfeauto@lwom.us.

What have you done for God lately? There is a Kingdom reward system for the things you do for God. If we’re not investing anything into the Kingdom, why are we expecting God to invest anything back into us?

“For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.”
– Matthew 16:27 (NKJV)

September 27, 2015: Being God's Man

If you would like a digital copy of the audio of this service, please contact the church office at 712-262-9545, or email mfeauto@lwom.us.

Christian men should ask themselves these simple questions: “Am I a man after God’s own heart? Am I a disciple of Jesus? Am I living life in the Spirit? And I a man of good report?” Each of these questions is examined in this message from Pastor Al.

“And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.'”
– Acts 13:22 (NKJV)

If you would like a digital copy of the audio of this service, please contact the church office at 712-262-9545, or email mfeauto@lwom.us.

Pastor Barb shares a powerful testimony and encouraging message that sometimes we have to push through hard seasons. But, there is a blessing on the other side of your obedience, so don’t give up, don’t back up, and don’t let up.

September 13, 2015: What Do You Believe?

If you would like a digital copy of the audio of this service, please contact the church office at 712-262-9545, or email mfeauto@lwom.us.

Every believer needs to ask themselves, “What do I believe about Jesus Christ?” There are things that are available for us to do and we do them through faith in Jesus Christ and the Word that saw we can do it.

“But I have a greater witness than John’s; for the works which the Father has given Me to finish — the very works that I do — bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me.’”
– John 5:36 (NKJV)

September 6, 2015: Sowing & Reaping

If you would like a digital copy of the audio of this service, please contact the church office at 712-262-9545, or email mfeauto@lwom.us.

The Biblical law of Seedtime and Harvest is still in full effect today. The Bible is clear — whatever you sow, you will reap. Too many people look at this in a negative light, but this pertains to good just as much as bad.

“And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me. ’”
– Matthew 25:40 (NKJV)

If you would like a digital copy of the audio of this service, please contact the church office at 712-262-9545, or email mfeauto@lwom.us.

Prayer is a vital part of the Christian journey. When we pray, we should pray by the book. The Bible has laid out ways that we can pray and expect, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that our prayers will be answered.

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”
– Matthew 7:7 (NKJV)

PROPHETIC WORD OVER LWOM

Download Transcript

If you want to live in the blessing of the Lord, you have to know what the blessing of the Lord is. You can’t come into the blessing if you don’t know what it is. The devil is trying so hard to stop you from living in the potential God has for you. In this message, you’ll hear five blessings in the Abrahamic covenant that are ours if we’ll simply claim them.

“So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham”
– Galatians 3:9 (KJV)

August 22, 2015: Attracting The Blessing (Brenda Kunneman)

If you would like a digital copy of the audio of this service, please contact the church office at 712-262-9545, or email mfeauto@lwom.us.

There are things you can do to attract the blessing of God to yourself. Some people think the blessing of the Lord is automatic. It’s not. We have to be doers of the Word and make a decision to choose to be blessed.

“Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.”
– Titus 3:1-2 (NKJV)

August 16, 2015: Love & Forgiveness

If you would like a digital copy of the audio of this service, please contact the church office at 712-262-9545, or email mfeauto@lwom.us.

Forgiveness is vital in the Christian believer’s faith journey. The Bible says that if we do not forgive, we cannot be forgiven (Matthew 6:14-15). This is because of the spiritual law of seedtime and harvest. As we sow forgiveness, we reap forgiveness.

“For just as you judge and criticize and condemn others, you will be judged and criticized and condemned, and in accordance with the measure you [use to] deal out to others, it will be dealt out again to you.”
– Matthew 7:2 (AMP)

August 9, 2015: Back To Love

If you would like a digital copy of the audio of this service, please contact the church office at 712-262-9545, or email mfeauto@lwom.us.

If you don’t have the character of God, don’t expect the power of God. Love is a high priority with God and it needs to be a high priority with us! How do we know this? God sent His Son to die for us and He called it Love.

“For [if we are] in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith activated and energized and expressed and working through love”
– Galatians 5:6 (AMP)

The abundant life Jesus promises in John 10:10 is super abundant in quantity and superior in quality. Prosperity is not limited to the financial realm. God wants you blessed spirit, soul, body, socially, and financially!

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
– John 10:10 (NKJV)

True sons of God attain to full sonship because they’ve discovered who they are in Christ. The Word of God is what helps us discover who we are.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
– 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)

– Matthew 6:13 (NKJV)

“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
– Romans 10:17 (NKJV)

If you would like a digital copy of the audio of this service, please contact the church office at 712-262-9545, or email mfeauto@lwom.us.

The Holy Spirit desires to move in and through all believers, but there must be a foundation of the Word of God to support the manifestation of the Spirit. Our foundation in the Word is what springboards us into the miracle realm of Christianity. It’s extremely important that we cultivate, as a Church, a regular, consistent, day to day study and reading of the Word of God.

“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.”
– Matthew 7:24-25 (NKJV)

The Holy Spirit desires to move in and through all believers, but there must be a foundation of the Word of God to support the manifestation of the Spirit. The Word and the Spirit always agree. If a particular manifestation does not line up with the Word of God, it’s not of the Holy Spirit.

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”
– 2 Timothy 3:16 (NKJV)

If you want spiritual victory in your life, you have to get out of your flesh and learn to walk in the Spirit. The best way to learn to effectively walk in the Spirit is to follow the example of Jesus Christ and His life here on earth.

“When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.”

The flesh wants to do it’s own thing, not God’s thing. It will do whatever it can to drag you down into submission to it’s will that ultimately leads to sin, sickness, and defeat. But this is not God’s way! God’s way is that you walk in the Spirit, submitting yourself to His way of doing and living, which leads to life and victory!

“But I say, walk and live [habitually] in the [Holy] Spirit [responsive to and controlled and guided by the Spirit]; then you will certainly not gratify the cravings and desires of the flesh (of human nature without God).”
– Galatians 5:16 (AMP)

Grace is the influence of God on your heart. It’s a supernatural endowment of power to live and not sin.

“But he gives us even more grace to stand against such evil desires. As the Scriptures say, ‘God opposes the proud but favors the humble.’”

We, as Christians, need to recognize and understand the perilous times in which we live. We need to know how to operate and where to place our trust in these end days. The world is in desperate need of seeing the raw power of God. What is to separate us from other world religions other than the power of God working through us?

“If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.”

Obviously, doing things that strengthen our spirits and build our faith are a must, but how do we do that? In this message, Pastor Al begins to outline seven ways to pray and get answered.

“But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,”

Pastor Al also continues speaking on the blessings that are ours because of what Jesus has done for us.

God wants us to see the Lord Jesus in all of His wonder, greatness, and glory. One of the ways to grow in our appreciation of Christ is to examine the divine gifts that He offers to each of us.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,”

Love will make the things that you say, think, and do powerfully supercharged by the Spirit of God to accomplish great things for the Kingdom. Without Love, the most magnificent manifestation of gifts and the most heroic of sacrifices mean nothing.

“And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.”

Seedtime and harvest is a law that’s still in effect. We need to embrace an attitude of expectation and trust in what God has promised us will come to pass.

“[Remember] this: he who sows sparingly and grudgingly will also reap sparingly and grudgingly, and he who sows generously [that blessings may come to someone] will also reap generously and with blessings.”

If you look back at the creation account in Genesis, you’ll see that it was God’s intent all along for mankind to be blessed. At the onset of humanity, God commanded mankind to be fruitful, multiply, and exercise dominion over the earth. That right relationship with God that produces the blessing has been restored to us through Jesus Christ, but it’s by our decision that we walk in it or not.

“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.”

Often times, attitude is the only difference between success and failure. To achieve success, you have to act and think differently. You have to think beyond yourself. You have to remain focused and explore options outside of the box. And you have to seek God, because as you seek God, He will give you your purpose.

The only thing that should matter in the life of a Christian is what God is saying about us. Last week, it was explained that our words have power. If we align our words with God’s words about us, we will move toward becoming who God says we are.

“that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Jan. 25, 2015 : Words That Create

If you would like a digital copy of the audio of this service, please contact the church office at 712-262-9545, or email mfeauto@lwom.us.

The Bible is clear that our words have power. The words we’re saying out our mouths have the ability to steer the course of our lives. When a person is born again, they become so by speaking words (Romans 10:9-10). If you talk the way God talks, you can have and do what God says you can have and do.

“that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

God has a fresh anointing to pour out on us every day of our lives, but it’s our responsibility to receive it. God expects much out of us because He’s put much in us. And God isn’t so much interested in our abilities as He is in our availabilities.

“But my horn You have exalted like a wild ox;
I have been anointed with fresh oil.”
– Psalms 92:10

Jan. 11, 2015 PM : Second Sunday Worship

The goal of the Second Sunday Worship service is to glorify God, lift high the name of Jesus, and let the Holy Spirit move and have His way. The service consists mainly of praise and worship by Living Word’s worship band and is open for all to attend regardless of age or church membership.

“… so that with one mind and one voice
you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

God has a fresh anointing to pour out on us every day of our lives, but it’s our responsibility to receive it. God expects much out of us because He’s put much in us. And God isn’t so much interested in our abilities as He is in our availabilities.

“But my horn You have exalted like a wild ox;
I have been anointed with fresh oil.”
– Psalms 92:10

WORD FROM THE LORD

spoken through Pastor Al toward the end of the message.

“If you want to see the manifestation of My goodness, and you want to see the manifestation of my grace, and you want to see the manifestation of My mighty power, then learn to heed, learn to walk in the love of God. As you walk in the love of God, know that you walk in the life of God. Know that when you walk in the life of God, you walk in the power of God. And when you do those things, not only am I well pleased, the devil is defeated in the lives of the people that you’ve impacted with My mercy, My love, and My grace.” sayeth the Lord.
